About me
I have a passion for health and fitness, and for helping people achieve their ultimate goal(s). When it comes to getting in shape, mental strength is just as important as physical strength. The primary ingredient you need is the desire to succeed.


The hardest part is taking that first step; to motivate yourself to come to the gym and get started. If you can do that, I'll help you with the other steps, and the results will be very rewarding. We will achieve this by combining strength and resistance training with core conditioning and a wide variety of cardiovascular training.


As a Personal Trainer I want to share my enthusiasm, encourage a happier lifestyle and help you realise what your body is capable of. I believe that with the right training program, a bit of determination and support, anyone can achieve their goals.


Qualifications
Spinning instructor, Power plate, Nordic Walking, Circuit Training, Re-evolutionary training, weight management specialist, diabetes specialist, pre & post-natal, cardiac rehab and Level 4 Exercise referral tutor.


Experience
During my 15 years' experience as an Exercise referral tutor and Personal Trainer, I have worked with a wide range of medical conditions and clients with disabilities. Using this experience I am able to design a safe program , that is specific to your requirements incorporating any medical conditions.


I work at Les Quennevais Sports Centre - Monday to Saturday.

Everybody knows that it is important to maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle but achieving that or getting started can sometimes be difficult. I firmly believe that creating a routine that fits in with your lifestyle is key to achieving your goal(s) I aim to eliminate 'diets' and encourage and motivate my clients to create a balanced routine that should hopefully not feel forced or hard to maintain, with plenty of support and advice along the way to make sure that it does not become short lived.

I also have a passion for experimenting with healthy and wholesome ingredients to recreate what are usually classed as 'unhealthy' foods, so that it is still possible to enjoy the things you love without feeling guilty afterwards. I love to share my successful recipes with clients, friends and family alike to encourage nutritionally dense eating habits throughout.

During programmes I use a range of different cardio based training methods along with strength and resistance exercises, with the aim to make sessions diverse and as enjoyable as they possibly can be.

I have worked within the Health & Fitness industry for the last 15 years, from being a Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer up to Health Club Senior Management & I've acquired many reputable National qualifications.

Prior to this I've been active in the gym environment since leaving school, so 30 years of gym experience would not be an exaggeration....

I specialise in Cardiovascular Health, Nutrition & Weight Management where my main passion is & my job satisfaction if you like, in helping others achieve their desired fitness & weight goals.

I am a very versatile, friendly & authentic Fitness Professional & I'm a great believer in 'being of service to others'& so, this is my way of giving something back.
